About Me.

I am Suzanne Homer and I set up the bare bones of my design business with the Prince’s Trust Pre Start Up grant in 2005.

Whilst working in a part time job after finishing my textile degree in Leeds, I developed my first designs from my home in Rothbury, Northumberland. After a lot of thought, hard work, nerve and a lot of juggling I finally managed to go full time with the business and Zanna Designs was born in January 2007.

Many people have asked me what I use as inspiration in my work and I want to name designers and artists that I admire and adore but, to be truthful, my ideas come from the things that I see with my eyes everyday, from nature in the countryside to the hustle and bustle of the city…
